Narphu Valley Trekking

Expire the hidden valley of Nar Phu and trek along the "off the beaten path" crossing through challenging high passes of Kang La and Thorung La. Tilicho, (Meshekunda) pass.

A fantastic journey in a wild and unexplored area located north of Annapurna: the Nar Phu Valley. This trek is perfect for travelers who want to discover the Annapurna circuit as well as explore an untouched valley. A rough and wild trek, this trek takes you to the exotic Nar Phu valley that lies in the remote corner of the Annapurna region. Opened to visitors only in the year 2003, the Nar Phu valley remains untouched by modernity. The inhabitants, who roughly comprises of about 350 Nepalese Tibetans, have retained their age old practices. Most of them are engaged in yak herding and farming.

This trek also offers fantastic views of the Kang Guru 6701m, Nemjung 7140m, Himlung 7126m, Cheo Himal 6812m, Chhubche 5603m, Pokharkan 6347m, Amotson 6392m. Annapurna 2 - 7937m, Annapurna 3- 7553m, Annapurna 4- 7525m, Gangapurna 7485m, Chulu East 6558m, West 6420m, Thorong Peak (Khatung Kang) 6484m, Yakawa Kang 6482m, Putrung Himal 6465m, Dhaulagiri 8167m, Tukche peak 6920m, Thapa Peak 6013m, Dhampus peak 5951m, Tilicho Himal 7134m, Nilgiri South 7061m. And more snow capped peaks.  As the trekking route is frequented by few trekkers, you can look ahead for a 'just the mountains, nature & us' experience.

Day 03 Drive to Besisahar 823m.& Khudiand 8 hours approx. Camp

Day 04 Bahundanda 1311m, - 5 hours approx. camp

Day 05 Chamche - 5.5 hours approx. camp

Day 06 Dharapani 1943m.- 5.5 hours approx camp

Day 07 Koto 2700m. - 5 hours approx camp

Day 08 Dharmasala 2800m. - 5.5 hours approx. camp

Day 09 Meta - 5 hours approx. camp

Day 10 Junum - 5 hours approx. camp

Day 11 Phu 3000m. - 5 hours approx. camp

Day 12 Rest day at Phu, camp

Day 13 Hike around Phu valley, camp

Day 14 Nar village - 3200m.. 5 hours approx. Camping

Day 15 Dharmasala - 5 hours approx. camping

Day 16 Koto and Chame 2713m.- 5.5 hours approx. camping

Day 17 Pisang 3185m. - 5.5 hours approx. camping

Day 16 Rest at Ngwal.

Day 17 Treks to Yak Kharka.
